What’s in our Operation Christmas Child boxes?

Hi everyone,

One of our favorite things to do as we approach the holidays is to participate in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. Since this week is their National Collection Week, I figured I’d share with you all what we included in our shoe boxes that we filled this year.

We worked together with my parents and collectively filled 8 shoe boxes. We filled two 5-9 year old girls, two 5-9 year old boys, two 10-14 year old girls, and two 10-14 year old boy boxes.

All packed and ready to go!

If you are not familiar with Operation Christmas Child, here is a little snippet about it from the Samaritan’s Purse website: Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
